Senator and head of the 'La Libertad Avanza' bloc, Patricia Bullrich, was appointed today as head of the Labor and Social Security Commission. This move was questioned by José Mayans, leader of the Peronist bloc in the Senate.
Mayans staged an unusual scene for the Upper House when he sat at the commission's presidential table next to Bullrich and, shouting, said: 'They do whatever the hell they want.'
Mayans also complained about a supposed misinterpretation of the regulations by Bullrich.
The attack was joined by Senator Martín Soria, from Río Negro, who stated that the commissions were formed 'arbitrarily'.
The truth is that, despite the reproaches from the Peronists, Bullrich was voted into the position and from 11:00 a.m. she will preside over the first day of debate on the labor reform sent by the government of President Javier Milei.
Bullrich aims to get a report approved next Friday.
